Smashbox Color Correcting Primer Review

I am so underwhelmed by this product. Color correcting? Uh no, not that I can tell. I was hoping it would even out my skin- at least somewhat. It’s purple in the container, but goes on absolutely clear. How is that possible? It may be an ok primer for your skin but definitely not worth the $38 I paid for it. I would try the Maybelline Primer before anyone waste that much money on this product. I would never buy this stuff again. I’m debating on taking it back to Sephora. Has this worked for you?

Fall Into The Gap

I am newer-ish fan of the Gap. They remind me of a more affordable Banana Repbulic. Plus, they have great sales almost all the time. I love to get basic tee's and long sleeves at the Gap. They have a wide variety of styles. It's just a great place for basic pieces.

As long as this dress wouldn't bunch up near the waist, I would love it. It's a good length to where you could wear it on different occasions.

Sunday's Polish Change

I went to get a color change on my nails earlier today. I went to a different place this time and I'm wishing I hadn't. It just kind of looks like I painted my nails. I went somewhere to avoid that look, ya know? However, now I know and my nails are still done for the week.

Mall Trip

As usual on Saturday, I made my way to the mall. What else are you suppose to do on the weekend, ya know? I didn't purchase any clothes but I did pick up the following:

Not the best picture of my new Jessica Simpson purse, but you get the idea. Marshall's had a few Jessica purses on sale. I needed a purse that had some room to stuff all the things I don't need to carry around.

Bath and Body Works was having a 2 candles for $20 deal. I picked Tiki Beach and Coconut Water. I wouldn't have done this deal typically, but the 3 wick, beach smelling candles were too much to resist.

I have high hopes for this stuff. It says it's suppose to fill in lines and even out discoloration. Big claims Smashbox. We will see if this is true.

NARS Angelika Gloss. It not overly sticky and has just the right amount of color.

5 Things I Am Loving

HAPPY FRIDAY!

My favorite app is the Shop Style app. I highly recommend it. You can shop different stores, save your favorite items in a folder, and they give sale alerts on your favorited items!



This stuff does a good job of taming my hair. I prefer to put it on when my hair is damp and then blow dry it or let it air dry and then straighten/curl it. I have thick hair, so I'd guess that thinner hair should use A LOT less than what I typically use.





Neon Colors. I have a hot/neon like pink polish on right now. It screams summer!!



 Wide Leg Jeans! I got some wide leg jeans from Forever 21 recently. They are similar to the above jeans. I'm ready for something other than skinny jeans! I feel like wide leg jeans compliment me better.



I'm not a huge soup person, but last night I had a bowl of loaded baked potato soup at Longhorn Steakhouse. It was sooo good! So good, that I'm craving it right now. I will be getting some to-go this weekend.

I went to Gap this past weekend and they had some winter sweaters on sale.
I'm really glad I got this sweater. It's soft, comfortable and cute! I don't think I'll have a heat stroke in it either.

I may need to go a size up in this, but I figured if I put a long tank underneath, it might be good to have a top that's more fitted. This sweater could go back but I haven't decided.
