Halloween is Wednesday! For me, Halloween is all about free candy and playing dress up. Oh, and it is when the weather is changing and I can finally bring out the boots and sweaters!

Where Have I Been?!

I can't believe I haven't posted in 2 months! I haven't been doing anything that exciting or noteworthy, which begs the question: what exactly have I been doing?

- I went to a Carrie Underwood concert and a Miranda Lambert concert during my hiatus. Both performers are amazing live.



-Made homemade chocolate chip cookies using a recipe from Pinterest. The result? I prefer store bought cookies to my homemade ones.


-Oh, and I bought a mop. Haven't used it.


So, I apologize for the delay, but I am excited to be back!

It was actually last Thursday, but an outfit nonetheless.

My Chanel earrings. They are totally fake! Can you believe it? Someone Friday thought the were real. :) I actually got them in Chinatown in NYC.

Braided Bun Wednesday...

I wear my hair in a bun probably 3-4 times a week. It's just easy and gets the hair out of my way. Well, today I decided to do something different with my plain-o bun. It's pretty simple.

                        1) Put hair in a ponytail.

2) Separate 2 sections of the ponytail. Make 2 braids.

3) Start wrapping the braids around the ponytail base. You'll have to pin them in so they actually stay. A little hairspray never hurts either.

4) Boom, you've got yourself a braided bun!

I was pleasantly surprised how easy this was to do! Hope you like it!

Eva's Got Style...

Eva Longoria style is chic and sophisticated. What I like about her style, is that she wears the clothes and doesn't let the clothes wear her. She's can wear expensive name brand clothing, but still feels relatable. I am a big fan of her everyday street wear.
